"Do I have to join a gym to use this program or can I work out at home?"

No, you don't have to join a gym if you don't want to.  In fact, many people start working out in their own homes with little or no equipment, and they often join a gym later or create their own little "home gym".   It’s really up to you.  With just some dumbbells, a medicine ball and a stability ball, you can get excellent results. 

That having been said, some people prefer to join a gym.  These particular people find that a gym can be a motivating environment with fewer distractions.  Sometimes it’s good to have a place outside of your house that is completely dedicated to training.  That way, you can sort of “get away from it all” and totally concentrate on yourself for the duration of your workout.  The bottom line is that you will get great results regardless of where you decide to train.
